Give Me Liberty…

 I read Patrick Henry’s “give me liberty or give me death” speech a couple days ago. Several parts of it could have been written by any one of us today. For instance,” Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason toward my country, and of an act of disloyalty towards the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly Kings”. That’s what Glen has been saying all along, now is not the time to be silent. Should we keep silent now it would be, in my mind, and act of treason before GOD. Don’t worry about offending those elected to represent us who aren’t doing their job. Voice what needs to be said.
