I heard about this on Armed American Radio tonight. The way it was described was that the poor guy was part of the cutbacks. Sent home to work from home unless his supervisor said otherwise. While on such status the gentleman went out and bought 3 guns in one day. Now these weren’t his only guns. He had been a gun owner for years. So the police coax him out of his house in the middle of the night and hauled off for a psychiatric evaluation. Why you ask? Because he bought to many guns on one day after being put on work from home status. Before you say, “wait a minute that’s illegal”, here’s an article to prove it.

I’m sorry but if this doesn’t upset you down to your Constitutional core there’s something wrong with you.

Now for the man to get his weapons back he had to throw a media fit. Really, the police in Oregon is that nuts? You know I’m from Oregon. It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth but between the liberal political B.S. like this, and the fact that my ex-wife still lives there, I will never live there again. Oregon you have some serious problems. If you need a copy of the Constitution I can hook you up with The Heritage Foundation where you can get a free copy.

Just yesterday, after enough of the country finding out about this the police decided they would give the man his guns back…can you believe that crap. They illegally confiscated his guns and then decided they would go ahead and give them back. This should outrage all patriots.

Is It Just Me?

Is it just me or does and ivy league education not necessarily mean you posses intelligence? I watch the news, I listen to the radio and simply can’t believe what I see every time our illustrious president shows up. Every time he opens his mouth I want to yell at the tv, “Are you kidding”? Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows what a load of crap this administration is trying to pawn off on us. Yeah, there are always those out there standing up for what Obama is doing or saying. As usual there isn’t a single one of them that can answer a direct question.

What’s with Obama bowing to the Saudi king? They out right lie to us and say that he didn’t do it. Yeah, sure. I watched the video on both the tv and youtube. It’s obvious that he bowed. It’s plain to see. So don’t lie to us.

I have to give an “at-a-boy” to Carl Rove. He took on Joe Biden and very tactfully made a fool of him. Not that Biden doesn’t make a fool of himself on a regular basis. However Mr. Rove did an eloquent job of it.

Need I say more. This is a gentleman that understands the constitution and frankly COMMON SENSE. America needs to wake up before we loose what our forefathers fought and died for. Wake up!Show up at a Tea Party. Show those in D.C. that we are no longer represented and wont sit by and watch our country disintegrate.

Tea Parties

All over the country people are meeting on tax day to protest the increased spending of the new administration. I would like all of you to support these. If you can’t I have another option for you Digital March On Washington is the answer you’re looking for. The problem with Conservative protests is the fact that most of us work. Well if you can’t break away from your job I implore you to participate in the digital march. Email, text anything you have to do. Email your Representatives every time you get the chance all that day. You don’t have to stop at just one message to them bug them all day. Let’s let Washington know how upset we are about this and effect the changes we’re looking for.

Special Interest Groups

This is great. The 912 project has taken another turn. Glen Beck has been working on an addition to the project. By 9-12-09 he wants to have over a million people recruited to the project. He’s called on all of us to give our opinions of what we want to accomplish. He’ll then go through and pick the top ten. What we’ll be left with is 10 issues to make ourselves into our own special interest group. No more can we say that we wish we had a special interest group to influence government with. We’ll be one of our own. Spread the word. Invite people to come on board and get involved.

Speak up

It’s all over the news, right? Well not so much. If you’re watching FOX News you probably heard this one though. Our wonderful Treasury Secretary is asking congress for more power. What’s the harm with that you ask well plenty. One brave congressperson asked him where in the constitution does it say he can have those powers. His reply was that congress will give it to him. Did you catch the prize winning part of this? He never caught on that he didn’t understand what was being asked of him. Congress can’t give him authority that congress doesn’t have, that was the point. Obviously he forgot that the constitution still exists. Time to speak up yet again. Write everyone again and let know this won’t fly.

Give Me Liberty…

I read Patrick Henry’s “give me liberty or give me death” speech a couple days ago. Several parts of it could have been written by any one of us today. For instance,” Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason toward my country, and of an act of disloyalty towards the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly Kings”. That’s what Glen has been saying all along, now is not the time to be silent. Should we keep silent now it would be, in my mind, and act of treason before GOD. Don’t worry about offending those elected to represent us who aren’t doing their job. Voice what needs to be said.

State Sovereignty

Earlier I provided the 9th and 10th amendments to our constitution. This issue is plain and simple. The federal government only has so many powers. Those powers are borrowed from the states which are the sovereign powers in the nation but where does the states get their power? The states get it from the citizens of that state.

Too long the legislative branch of our federal government has treated us like they were elected royalty. They beg for our votes when their up for re-election then the next day treat us like dirty commoners. I for one am tired of writing letters to my hired representatives and having them tell me thanks but bug off.

I don’t care what state you’re in we need to remind them of state sovereignty. I believe this will remind them that they aren’t the lords and ladies of the US kingdom but hired representatives of a sovereign people. They need to do the job we send them to do or come election day they’re fired. I always hear the media refer to them as the “leadership in Washington”. I think that’s wrong. I think the common people are the true leadership in this country. We’ve just forgotten that. The fed’s only have the powers borrowed from us. We lend them the authority to take care of the infrastructure and defence of the nation. Other than that they need to stay out of our everyday lives and it’s time they remembered it.
